Dr. Ismael Fernandez Cuevas, joins me to talk about thermal imaging (thermography) and its application in sports science, medicine and physical therapy. Dr. Cuevas has undertaken ground breaking research at Universities around the world in the field of thermography. He has developed a state of the art software program known as 'ThermoHuman', which is capable of interpreting thermal images in the sports medicine and clinical setting in such a way that it is capable of identifying injuries before they occur, as well as monitoring injuries and areas of inflammation. ThermoHuman is currently being used by 26 professional football teams and a range of medical and high performance sports clinics around the world.
