Episode 75: Dr Jordan Grant & Jad Atik
Is chemistry a true scientific discipline? Dr Jordan Grant & Jad Atik join me to take a deep dive into the issues plaguing the field of chemistry and science. What's really going on when chemists are mixing things together in laboratories? Are the foundations of chemistry based in science, or is it all smoke and mirrors? Is the discipline of chemistry scientific, or modern day witchcraft?
Dr Jordan Grant is a medical doctor who has specialised in urology. He has a keen interest in epistemology and his understanding of the scientific method is unparalleled. Jad Atik has undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in chemistry and worked in laboratories for many years. He now runs a school in the Dominican Republic called the Future Academy of Critical Thinking.

Episode 71: Emrys Goldsworthy - A Bone of Contention
Is our understanding about musculoskeletal injuries incorrect? Did you know that many people who have musculoskeletal pain, have no observable abnormalities on a CT, MRI or X-Ray? Did you know that many people who have observable tissue damage on these scans have no pain? How can this possibly be? Emrys Goldsworthy from Athletica Physical Health returns to the Humanley podcast to explain why. We also talk about the real cause of pain, inflammation, the non-sense of RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) for injuries and practical strategies to help support musculoskeletal health.
